I was watching a very recent performance by Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin this morning and he was playing what appeared to be the Sadowsky Chuck Loeb model. He sounded really good with it, better than he does with most other sold bodies. I have no idea why, but I decided to take a look at the Sadowsky site to look at the current description and found the name had been changed to the Broadway. As a Chuck Loeb fan, it was just a sad reminder how long Chuck's been gone already.

For some reason Chuck’s passing really hit me. Maybe because he was hitting his prime. And I really enjoy his work with his wife.

Ritenour and Loeb would sound absolutely amazing playing a beat up 1960's Sears Silvertone guitar.

That said, the Sadowsky Chuck Loeb model is very sweet.
