I played this guitar in a music store. I'm thinking about buying it. Very comfortable and "friendly" instrument.
Has anyone tried this instrument-Ibanez FRH10N?

Interesting...the guitar itself has no controls?

There is only a button that turns the pick up on or off.The guitar is very thin and light.
It doesn't sound as loud as a typical classical guitar.
But it is quite audible through the hole in the side of the guitar.

Is it truly hollow?

It's hollow.

Seems like it's built for performance, soundproof just there to give something to the player.
If you have a good amp/processor that can tame the piezo quack, this is probably a winner. Ibanez makes very playable guitars.
If you're in the market for something like this with a little more acoustic feel, kris, also check out the Yamaha NTX series. I've used mine in a 600 seat theater, and sounded great, no feedback issues either.

I like it...of course, its a crossover ,so not the same as a full size nylon...I sanded down the saddle..for me the action was a little high. Its very comfortable to play. Super light..uses two watch batteries...so unplug after using or your replacing batteries every 10 days or so...

I can manage with a mic in front plus the built-in pickup but this only works in quiet concert settings where stage volume is very low. For band situations my Cordoba Fusion-12 with a Fishman Presys unit does the job just fine. On-board controls are a must-have though !
