Could I get some opinions on this guitar, or also the
Ibanez John Scofield Signature JSM100?
I went ahead and ordered the JSM10.
I don't why it says access to this page has been denied. It's just Sweetwater.
I can still see it.
Perhaps I have broken a forum rule?

None is exactly a 335 copy because the woods are a bit different, as are the pickups, but they’re in the same general area, as are most semi-hollow guitars. The MIJ models are as well crafted as the best Gibsons, and they are more consistent (so better than some 335’s from a fit and finish standpoint).Last edited by John A.; 08-11-2024 at 04:51 PM.

I have the JSM20th, a limited black 20th anniversary model, made in Japan.
Scofield and someone from Ibanez speak about it in that video
Fantastic instrument, definite recommendation.

I have the similar non-signature Ibanez AS-113 made in Indonesia. It differs from the JSM10 in that the AS-113 has a pressed spruce top as opposed to a pressed maple top like the JSM10.
Like the JSM10, the AS-113 has a made in Japan counterpart (AS2000) which costs more than twice as much!
I like the AS-113 a lot! It has a slightly smaller body than an ES-335.
There are several demos of all of these guitars on YouTube! Cheers!

I just bought a 2016 Ibanez JSM 100 VT that is absolutely mint. It did not take very long to realize that the quality of materials and the skill of the builders make it a very fine semi-hollow. I will follow my practise of only buying and never selling, the stable is very large one and there are many that I got very lucky in acquiring. Music has always been my passion and hobby, there is so much reward in the creative arts.

There were 5 of them available for several days, and I finally ordered my JSM10. Suddenly there are only 2 left. I must be on to something.

Hey there,
I own an as120 Korean made (Cort) from about 2000. Specs are very similar to the as200 from those years .as200 had a phase switch if i remember correctly. . I still love the guitar. It will never go. Thought about buying a as200(0), jsm100 but the as120 suit me well. Last year i had to replace tuners. The G wouldn't stay in tune. Now it has Graphtec tuners. I don't know if that's Korean quality. Own a jp20 (1991) and a 2616 (1976?) Both Japan made and fully original.
Good luck with your JSM10. Ibanez built fine instruments. Never played a made in indonesia or China though.
