I think I’m gonna sell my Holy Grail and get this White Whale. It has a REAL 3-SPRING TANK!!! AND it’s a brown face tremelo to boot.

Curious what you think of the video.

I enjoyed the video. Well done demo, while not my genre the player let me hear what the pedal can do.

I agree, but there are Jazz applications for reverb and tremolo

I think it sounds good. I have a spring reverb pedal that I use with my non reverb amps, and while it's not the same as tube driven amp reverb, it's imo way better than Strymon or the like.

good demo (tho he kinda wanders out of tune by demos end)..good polka dot shirt... and cool pedal!

like other pedal sized true spring reverb units, the decay is a tad short, but its got some splash...pretty nice sounding reverb..at least in the max III setting

plus always cool that you can get the classic surf sproing when you hit the pedal case!!

trems are nice..brown is real nice

there are some great digi reverb/trem pedals around these days..the strymon flint was a major factor..fender has a nice one as well...but this white whale is definitely interesting...well done

    cheers

Surf Jazz has long been a dream of mine. Can't seem to get anyone else interested though.

As for the pedal - drool...twitch...twitch....

    Surf jazz! I’m in!

I am totally beginner in jazz guitar and never played surf, so this would be perfect genre for me!

Surfin’ Bird will get a new more, bebopical treatment (You know, Bird, C. Parker)!

There was some jazz surf crossover back in the day - Walk Don't Run springs to mind.

My friends call my style of music "Cowboy Surf Jazz"...lol. I usually play a Strat w/flatwound 12's or 11's, and Tone is about 7 or 8. Pickups are half the time neck only or middle only, and I use reverb and/or delay. My buddy is usually doing the chording on either a hollowbody or a Les Paul, while I strictly play the melodies. It does have a different feel and flavor, but I am not a fan of dull tone-rolled-completely-off jazz.

This is about as surf-jazz as it gets, if you ask me

Wow, I haven’t heard about the term ”Surf jazz” before! Sounds like a really interesting concept, especially today when more and more jazz guitarists are using single-coil pickups on their instruments.

By the way, Hank Marvin did some jazz-oriented surf things with The Shadows. Not so straight-ahead though, but definitely a nice musical trip.
