It is an extremely light weight guitar (fully hollow except for a small post underneath the bridge studs, the size of a pack of cigarettes), very resonant and capable of putting out a warm jazz tone as well as full-out overdriven Rock/Fusion type sounds. It lacks in character though but maybe it's the pickups that come with that model. The wide/fat neck shape was comfortable and I would have kept it if I didn't have to finance an expensive acoustic guitar at the time.
The way Sierra picks her guitar makes it difficult for me to get a true sense of it's potential. I have a pretty strong pick attack and really make my guitars sing - therefor I like a slightly stiffer string and action on most of my instruments.
Raney and Abersold, great interview.
