Sometime ago I put SD Little 59 into modified travel Aria.
Though the pickup is a bit weak and lacks some space and bottom end I like the tone.
Now I want to change neck pu in Ibanez afj95 which is my kind of 'carry around' archtop now.
I generally like stock Super58 they are better than any stock pickups on cheap archtop I tried but they lack some delicate tonalities and character I can hear in SD.
I believe Seymour Duncan SH-1n (SH-59) is full-size version of little 59?
Will it have approximately the same tonal qualities.
I have also possibility to get used Gibson 57 or Benedetto A6... (the last one seems to be very hot and bright pu)

59 yes. A really good pickup, and among my first choices when replacing super 58's which I don't particularly like. Seth Lover also a similarly voiced pickup. The mini pickups are indeed similar. I had SD wind me a mini floater 59 for my GB10 Benson. Big thumbs up for that pickup. Warm like the 59 full sized but with a focused clarity from the smaller sampling area. It's a joy to play. It was a game changer on my George Benson.
My opinion and experience anyway

My impression of SD '59 (SH-1n) is that it is somewhat scooped sounding compared to other SD low output pickups. For me that is not what I want in a guitar design that is inherently boomy and scooped to begin with, especially when paired with scooped mid amps like Fenders.
I attribute some of the mid dip to the A5 magnets.
SD Seth Lover or SD Antiquity are more balanced to my ears and, coincidentally, come with A2.
YMMV.

Thanks to all of you, guys!

Sorry to add a cheap modification option. In some guitars the ’57 Classics has too boomy low end. And to some ears the SH-1s has too harsh upper end.
A perfect solution is to swap the A5 magnet of SH-1 to an A2 magnet. Sweet upper end and no boominess on the lower side.
