Hello everyone,
I wanted to share the experience I had with this extremely expensive delay. I arrived at the studio with my unassuming dd-5 by boss, and said to the Hammond player: "so it adds a little bit of texture for the ballad". He grinned and showed me this analog delay. I was instantly hooked., It sounds so gorgeous I wonìt ever use a digital delay ever again.
I also added the chorus of my jazz chorus for some extra ambience
This is the final result.(the tune is moon river)
Let me know what you think!
Have a nice day,
Frankie

I've never heard of it, and I've been reading about tape echoes for 15 years! It's apparently Pearl's "take" on the Roland Space Echo.
Real tape echoes are amazing. They are also old (unless it's a Fulltone unit), and require alot of TLC. It may be digital, but it SOUNDS analog, and it's awesome (it ended my delay hunt of many years):

I have never seen that boss delay, I will try it!

Very nice, the effectors suit the tune well. And now you got me gassin’ for the Pearl tape echo!
I’ve got an old 1970s Japan made Evans Super Echo tape unit that has a similar vibe. It’s been very inspiring. And I agree, once you use tape it’s difficult returning to digital!

Nice sounds and playing though the chorus is masking the analog delay a bit. Anyone try a Strymon Deco? I had one at one point and it was cool but took up a lot of real estate on my Pedaltrain Nano board.
