Thought I'd share this fun arpeggio exercise - a basic jazz guitar 2-5-1 workout!
When it comes to jazz improvisation...arpeggios are your greatest friend!!
The 2 5 1 chord progression is one of the most essential building blocks of jazz - and using arpeggios in your playing is a key component of jazz improvisation, and also a great way to start soloing on any track - even if you don't necessarily understand the theory behind the progression yet.
There's tab for the exercise as well.
HAPPY JAMMING!

Sounds great meritonemusic! Very smooth, as usual.
Next - how about spicing it up by adding some approach notes to the tones in your chord outlines? 1, 2, then 3 approach notes.
Then we'll really be "cooking with grease".

Thanks Quist!
