What this recording does is show just how much each these players have their own individual sound. You can pick it up in 3 notes played by any of them. This could be the difference between the real greats they manage to have a sound that is completely their own.

To critic the recording is kind of fun. Barney gets a bit sloppy as he does with his single line stuff, but his chord work is magnificent. Grant has his groove, and he is easy to listen to not the strong chord player a pocket groove player. Kenny has his bold and wonderful full sound on the D'a. To me I like this playing at least for the single lines stuff better and he does it all. Historic recording all should listen
