Dirty, grimy, greasy, nasty, funky and bluesy George Benson riff you need to learn!

I'm really excited to share a hot and funky george benson lick from the body talk album.

This is over an E7 vamp but you can use it over an E Blues or any E7 / EMin7 sequence.

It's dirty, grimy, greasy, nasty, funky and bluesy and I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I did when I first heard it!

Thanks for watching. Stay tuned for more exciting material soon

I feel like you have really been pushing yourself post surgery. I don't know if it's necessary, only you can decide that, but I wanted to let you know that I appreciate your efforts Jack. Don't work too hard! I wish I had time to keep up with all your lesson material. Your tone here is outstanding to my ears, the top end on that seemed just right, sweet sounding notes. Really nice, maybe you should share the recipe if it's not secret. I love you too buddy!

Thanks. I *HAVE* been pushing myself really hard, but it's not the guitar playing that's doing it. I relapsed with a secondary injury to my neck doing physical therapy that was prescribed by the doctor so I've eased back on that and have been feeling better. I estimate I was at about 90% of normal prior to the PT injury. Now I'm probably at 75-80%. IMO, the PT folks don't really know what they are doing. They just look stuff up in a database but don't have all the details about your specific issues. I've had this problem several times with PT so I'm going to be a bit more conservative about it.

Sadly, I had to move furniture out of my deceased mom's house yesterday. Neck and back are pretty sore today but it doesn't hurt from my spinal core - which I think is important.

Regarding tone recipe, I think it's a good idea and I'll do a video of that. Ironically, I complained that the replacement pickup in the GB10 was a failure but I think it was more that I was used to the dull and dark metheny tone I had been using previously. The GB10 has evolved into one my favorite guitars and guitar tones. Not sure how much that has to do with the replacement pickup or not...
