    Absolutely beautiful and personal. Magical, too, and very much coming from within. You can't hear me clapping due to there being an ocean in between, but anyway. Thanks so much for posting! I love the sound of that guitar, it has to be said.

    Dunbar’s Tonal Convergence has lots of great ideas. He, and his books, opened my ears 40+ years ago when I studied with him to the many colors I use to this day. I don’t know if the books alone could have got me there without him bringing it all to life. His biggest thing, as I recall, was real time ear training. Hours of call and response. He’d play something and you’d have to play it right back at him. Minimal discussion. He’d say do that and learn tunes- all else was gravy (including his own books)
